I picked up my entire life in Atlanta and moved across the ocean to Madrid.
Now I am back in Atlanta.
I switched my entire way of eating overnight.
I believe a little sarcasm doesn’t hurt anyone.
My hair is never having a “good hair day”.
I am engaged to a boy named Kirby.
And I love a good set of parentheses in a sentence.
I started this blog to not only keep a record of all of my adventures and daily happenings but to also help others maximize their potential through changes in their life and through, my personal favorite, food. I switched to a Paleo lifestyle over two years ago and the benefits that followed have been absolutely incredible. (It gets a bit personal here…) I no longer suffer from stomach cramps, bloating, and chronic acne. Having been a runner and soccer player for most of my life, my right knee pain has since been alleviated after changing my diet. The list goes on and on with the benefits I have received from this way of eating. This blog will not be about teaching the science behind why I feel you should eat this way. Frankly, I have trouble with that too. There are some really good scientists and writers out there who do a much better job than I ever would explaining the chemical breakdowns of the human body. The posts about food and lifestyle in my blog will simply be a record of the things I am using, learning, and practicing each day. I hope that this aspect of my blog can encourage others as well. For more information on this ‘paleo’ thing, click here.
But this blog wouldn’t be titled “Life With a Fork” if it didn’t include some posts about my life. My awkward, funny, sometimes boring life.

chica, your blog looks GREAT. Well done. Fantastic! Good job! *thumbs up*

That is so awesome of you Sarah! Love the blog, although I have to disagree about your hair!!
Sarah, I really admire your writing, photography, etc. You are very gifted in this area. It’s funny, but I cross paths with so many educated people who don’t have 1/4 your skill. I enjoy your writing. As I said, there lies a book, or two, or three, ….. in you. You have a gift. You will find the title. Love, Mom
