Cheesy Baked Ziti Skillet with Beef

We absolutely love pasta and this baked ziti recipe is absolutely a delicious and your family will love it. Pair it with some warm garlic bread and Bon Appetit!

Cheesy Baked Ziti Skillet with Beef

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. 

  2. Add your pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Then drain and set it aside. 

  3. Grab a large skillet or pan, oil it with the avocado oil. Then add the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat. 

  4. Once the ground beef and onion starts to brown. Add the garlic, oregano and tomato sauce. 

  5. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  6. Grab a cast iron skillet or 9x13 dish and spray with oil.
  7. Add the pasta to the cast iron skillet or baking dish then sprinkle 1/4 cup of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. 

  8. Then place the sliced provolone cheese, sour cream, meat sauce mixture on top of the pasta. 

  9. Lastly top with rest of the grated Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and place the skillet or dish into the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes; until cheese starts to bubble/brown.
