Sweet and Salty Tofu Tacos

Anyone else loves Taco Tuesday?  I definitely enjoy changing up my Taco Tuesday for some tofu tacos. You want to make tofu taste good? Try this recipe; is simple and the sweet and salty pairs perfect.  My husband who is not the biggest fan of tofu has been enjoying this tacos for a while now and is one of his favorite.

  • 1 Tofu (Block)
  • 1/4 cup Almond Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Raw Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut Aminos
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Seasume Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • 6 Tortillas (Corn)
  • 1 cup Red Cabbage (Sliced Thinly)
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion (Diced)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (Chopped)
  1. Toss the tofu in almond flour.
  2. Pre-heat air frier to 400 °F for 5 minutes and spray with avocado oil; then add the tofu 10 minutes
  3. In a sauce pan, add honey, coconut aminos, sesame oil and garlic and bring to a boil then lower to a simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Place the tofu into a bowl and pour the sauce and coat evenly.

  5. Toast the tortillas on a skillet or toaster oven.

  6. Add the red cabbage, tofu, red onions and top with fresh cilantro.
